Kelly Circle.png

Once again, all collected toys will be generously donated to The Salvation Army's Toy Mountain. This year marks our 6th annual charitable effort, and we’ve chosen to direct all financial contributions towards supporting the vital work of the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

The Alzheimer Society operates nationwide, providing essential programs and support services, raising funds in local communities, and enhancing public awareness about dementia.

Investing in research is crucial to enhancing the quality of life for Canadians affected by this challenging disease, and to discovering new treatments and ultimately a cure for dementia.

About Kelly

This is Kelly. A shining example of kindness and beauty in the world. Tragically, we lost her on March 5, 2019. For those who hadn't had the privilege of knowing her, Kelly embodied the essence of a compassionate and lovely soul. In February 2018, after years of enduring stomach issues, Kelly received a diagnosis that had eluded detection for far too long – Crohn's Disease.

Crohn's Disease is a challenging condition that often requires immunosuppressive treatments. These treatments make the body vulnerable to infections, including common ones like colds and the flu. Tragically, a particularly aggressive bacterium found its way into her weakened immune system, and her body couldn't fight off the infection.

We want to share Kelly's story, not to define her by her illness, but to celebrate her resilience and her commitment to living life to the fullest. Kelly's life was centered around the principles of health and well-being. With an undergraduate degree in Applied Science & Human Nutrition and a Masters degree in Nutrition Communication, she co-founded a company called LiveWell Marketing. Kelly embodied the spirit of a determined female entrepreneur who built a life around her passions.

Kelly was an inspiration, advocating for a holistic approach to a healthy life that included nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. She understood that not everyone is fortunate enough to enjoy good health, which led her to start a holiday toy drive. Kelly firmly believed in doing good for others, and her infectious positivity, boundless enthusiasm, and unwavering determination inspired those around her.

As her family, we continue to be inspired by Kelly's incredible acts of kindness, and we are committed to carrying on her legacy of goodwill.

Support Our Cause

Each year we have chosen a different charitable organization for financial donations to go to. This year all financial donations we collect will go to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

The Alzheimer Society operates nationwide, providing essential programs and support services, raising funds in local communities, and enhancing public awareness about dementia.

Research is essential to improve the quality of life of Canadians who are experiencing this terrible disease firsthand, including the discovery of new treatments and a cure for dementia.
